How to get to mahmya island ?

To get to Mahmya Island Hurghda, you will leave from the Hurghada marina in the boat property of Mahmya itself and the trip will take roughly an hour. Once you have landed on the island, you will be free to "snorkel" on the coral coast, take a walk on the beach, or just relax in this spectacular place. There is also a bar-restaurant with WIFI available that serves all kinds of drinks and delicious fresh fish dishes. At around 6 pm the last boat back to the marina of Hurghada takes off, because being a protected area, nobody can be at the island after that hour. For all travelers to Hurghada, it is a must-visit.

The only way to get to the Mahmya, which is situated on Giftun Island, is to book on one of the boat trips that will take you over there. The boat ride itself all adds to the experience of the whole day. You'll leave from Hurghada marina and sail for around an hour or so on the glistening blue waters until you reach the island.

Keep a look out on the way though, because if you're lucky, you might just spot a pod of dolphins swimming along in the wake. So make sure you don't forget your camera.
